The occupational license docket is normally held on Fridays at 9:00 a.m. However, on dates Judge Laird is assigned to handle jail docket (June 21, August 16, and December 6) the occupational license docket is held at 1:30 p.m. Applicants wishing to place an occupational license application for submission without hearing must utilize the affidavit form provided below. If a waiver of the four hour operating period is requested, be specific as to the reason the waiver is necessary. Submitting an incomplete affidavit form will result in the necessity of appearing for a hearing.
If the applicant has a conviction for DWI within 10 years after any suspension in effect at the time the order is entered, an ignition interlock will be required of persons obtaining an occupational license. Initial the interlock provider (designated in the order form) the applicant desires to obtain an interlock device from. Failure to initial a provider will result in the Court assigning a provider. Failure to install the ignition interlock or a failed breath test will result in the revocation of the occupational license.
