DeGuerre
Lindsey R. DeGuerre is the Briefing Attorney for the 9th District Court under the Honorable Fred Edwards, presiding Judge. As Briefing attorney Lindsey serves the Court in various duties relating to legal and administrative matters of the Court. She assists Judge Edwards in reviewing motions and legal issues requiring adjudication while also assisting the Court in facilitating the speedy administration of claims.

Lindsey graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts and dual majors in English and Sociology along with a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. After working for a year in the security industry in Chicago, Illinois, Lindsey obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from the Elon University School of Law in 2009.

During her time in law school Lindsey was a member of the Dean’s List and was the recipient of the Contracts II book award. She was also selected to compete on the Elon Law Moot Court Team in the John J. Gibbons Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition, March 2008. Lindsey is published as co-author of Professional Responsibility, North Carolina General Practice Handbook, IV-1 (Wake Forest University School of Law 2007).

Lindsey passed the July 2009 Bar Exam.

9th District Court Court Reporter
Paula Mooneyham is the Official Court Reporter for the 9th District Court. She has been a Certified Shorthand Reporter since 1986. Paula was awarded the National Court Reporters Association designation of Certified Realtime Reporter in 1996 and Registered Merit Reporter in 1998.

Paula is a member of the National Court Reporters Association and Texas Court Reporters Association. She and her family live in Montgomery County and are members of Lord of Life Lutheran Church.

Jennifer Contella is the Court Administrator/Court Coordinator for the 9th District Court. Jennifer attended the University of Texas in San Antonio and has been a Certified Trial Coordinator in the 9th District court since 1998. Her primary duties are to schedule civil, criminal and family cases on the Court's Docket as well as Court Administrative duties.

Kane

Lindsey Kane is a Court Coordinator in the 9th District Court. Her duties include coordinating the tax docket.
Lindsey graduated from Texas A&M University in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Criminology from the University of Houston - Clear Lake.
