Title Service Information

As of March 29, 2010 all vehicle title service transactions performed at the Montgomery County Tax Office must be in accordance with the Texas Transportation Code Chapter 520, Subchapter E. The Transportation Code refers to any company or individual that for compensation directly or indirectly assists other person(s) in obtaining vehicle title documents by submitting, transmitting, or sending applications for vehicle title documents to the appropriate government agency. 

Title service companies and representatives must register at the Montgomery County Tax Office Conroe location. Registration is good for one (1) year and must be renewed annually. All Motor Vehicle Title Service Owners and Representatives(Runners) doing business at the Montgomery County Tax Office are required to present a Montgomery County Tax Office issued I.D. Badge.
