The Records and Research Department maintains civil, family, felony, and delinquent tax files from the 1900’s to the present.

 

You may request copies of a document in person or by mail with the “Request for Copies” link below.  Plain or certified copies are $1.00 per page.  Money orders, cashier’s checks, or cash are accepted.  No personal business checks.

 

For copies from a sealed record, click on the “Request to Unseal Records” link below.  Bring your completed form to the District Clerk’s office or mail it to the address below.  When the process is complete, you will be notified.

 

Civil name searches and Criminal name searches, within Montgomery County, are $5.00 per name, per 10-year search.  You may send in a request with the complete name (first, middle & last), and time period to be searched.

 

We provide Civil and Criminal records data in the form of a CD, FTP file or e-mail.  The fee for this service is $9.35 per request.
