You may request a Court date by mail or in person. Tickets are generally not in the system prior to 10 days before the appearance date. The appearance date is not a Court date. It is the date by which the ticket must be filed by the officer and you must respond to the Court.
If you are pleading not guilty, your case will be set for a pretrial hearing with the prosecutor. One reset of a Court date is allowed.
