The Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control
Plan sets forth policies and procedures to be followed,
should an employee be exposed to bloodborne pathogens or
other potentially infectious materials resulting in the
performance of an employee’s duties. Effective workplace
practices and the use of personal protective equipment practices
should be followed to minimize or eliminate exposure. The
Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan is to be accessible
to employees and reviewed and updated annually or whenever
changes in tasks or positions make it necessary. |
