New E-Filing System February 1, 2014!!
(5 months prior to Supreme Court Mandate of July 1, 2014)
Effective January 1, 2014, the Texas Supreme Court mandated Electronic Filing in Texas with the new electronic filing manager, EFILE TEXAS http://www.efiletexas.gov/ established by the Office of Court Administration (OCA). These changes are mandated pursuant to Rule 21, Texas Rules of Civil Procedure (amended and effective January 1, 2014.)
As a result of this rule amendment, firms MUST select a certified electronic filing service provider in order to comply. To choose your selection of a service provider, you may access the website at www.efiletexas.gov .
Each County in the State of Texas was assigned a deadline to meet these mandates. Montgomery County was required to be ready July 2014.

January 2014 we implemented our new Odyssey system and February 2014 we went live with our new e-filing system. February 1, 2014 the Supreme Court mandated all documents be filed through your selected service provider. Your documents are then transmitted through the portalhttp://www.efiletexas.gov/ to your assigned court.
Please note: All documents filed with the District Clerk (paper or electronic) MUST include your e-mail address. E-file questions should be sent to dcclerkII@mctx.org.
