Associate Judge Scharlene W. Valdez presiding
Effective June 1, 2020, in-person proceedings may be conducted in certain circumstances following
specific restrictions and precautions. Please refer to the COVID-19 Operating Plan for the Montgomery County Judiciary,
and the recertification of same. Also, effective October 1, 2020, in-person jury proceedings
may once again be conducted following specific restrictions and precautions. Please refer to
the COVID-19 Operating Plan for Conducting Jury Trials for the Montgomery County Judiciary.
For all proceedings being conducted remotely, please refer to
the Standing Order Regarding Court Proceedings during the COVID-19 State of Disaster in the 418th District Court.

Anyone who has a belief that a party, witness, attorney or other person cannot participate in a Court proceeding
