Mission Statement - The mission of Montgomery County Environmental Health Services is to protect the health, safety and welfare of all Montgomery County citizens. We serve as the local agent for the Texas Department of State Health Services or DSHS and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and enforce the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) regulations through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
