How many items can I check out at the same time?
Patrons may have up to 30 items checked out on their card.
How long can I keep my items?
Most items have a checkout period of 2 weeks.
How many DVDs and/or Blu-rays can I check out?

DVDs and/or Blu-rays (in any combination) are limited to a total of 10.

DVDs and/or Blu-rays can only be checked out on an adult card.
How many audiobooks and/or music CDs can I check out?
Audiobooks and/or music CDs (in any combination) are limited to a total of 10.
Can I return materials to any Montgomery County library?
Yes. Materials may be returned to any MCMLS location. Book drops are available at all locations for after-hours returns.
Renew
Can I renew the items I have checked out?
Items can be renewed if they are not requested by another patron.
Will my items automatically be renewed?

Yes. If another patron has not requested an item, it will automatically be renewed.

Interlibrary loans will not automatically renew.
