Location, Date and Time
Tax sales are held on the first Tuesday of each month in the Montgomery County Administration Building located at 501 North Thompson, 4th Floor, Suite 402, Conroe, Texas 77301, subject to holidays. Sales must be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Each of the Constables conducts sales of properties in their precinct. Sales are most often held consecutively.
Montgomery County has opened the County Parking Garage for bidders to park for the sale. Access to the garage is from Main Street. Please use the 5th floor for parking. Elevators are available in the parking garage.

The following websites of the law firms representing taxing units in Montgomery County provide lists of properties set for tax lien foreclosure sale. These lists are normally available at least 10 days prior to the foreclosure sale date.

Written Statement Of No Delinquent Taxes Owed
Texas Property Tax Code Section 34.015 requires a purchaser at a tax foreclosure sale to obtain a written statement of no delinquent taxes from the county tax assessor-collector. This written statement is required before a purchaser can receive the title to the purchased tax sale property. A 'Request For Statement Of No Delinquent Taxes Owed' can be found HERE.
Interested bidders can register prior to the sale at the sale location.
Payment For Properties Purchased
Payment must be made by cash or cashier's check at the time the property is purchased.
