Voter Registration Certificates, Primary Elections, and Redistricting Ongoing litigation regarding Texas Redistricting plans has caused a delay in mailing new and renewal Voter Registration Certificates throughout the State of Texas. New Voter Registration Certificates valid from January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2013 will be mailed to all Montgomery County registered voters after the Texas Redistricting maps are finalized by the Federal Courts. Voters can expect to receive their new yellow certificate before the 2012 Primary Elections. The status of Texas Redistricting has also resulted in a change to the Primary Election date. The 2012 Elections schedule will be posted as soon as the dates are finalized. Please continue to check our website for updates.
