Conflict Disclosures

Conflict Disclosure Statements

Beginning January 1, 2006, County Commissioners must file a conflict disclosure form with the County Clerk. Commissioners are required to file these forms if the Commissioner, or a member of the Commissioner's family, is employed by anyone who is doing business or is planning to do business with the County. These forms must also be filled out if a Commissioner, or a member of the Commissioner's family, receives gifts of an aggregate value of $250 or greater from any person who does business with the county, or with whom the County is considering doing business.

Vendors who do business with the County are also required to file conflict of interest questionnaires.

The Commissioners' disclosures and the vendor questionnaires must be posted on the County's website.

All of these disclosure forms can be found on the Texas Ethics Commission website,www.ethics.state.tx.us/whatsnew/conflict_forms.htm
