Human Resources

A message from our Director:

I am proud to serve as Director of Human Resources for Montgomery County.  Located just north of the Harris County area, and covering 1,047 square miles, Montgomery County is the 24th fastest growing county in the United States, according to the U.S. Census Bureau 2010 report.  The U.S. Census Bureau also estimated Montgomery County's population to be 455,746, a 55.15% growth rate in the ten years from the last U.S. Census.  Montgomery County provides regional services to all residents of the county.  These include courts and related legal services, public safety, records and elections, roads and bridges, regional parks and facilities.

The essential services that Montgomery County employees provide have a real and lasting impact on our community - where we work and live.  We strive to be the finest of public servants, doing our best to improve the quality of life in Montgomery County.

It is my privilege to lead Montgomery County's dedicated Human Resources team.  Daily, we serve the various HR needs of elected officials, department managers, employees of Montgomery County and applicants.

Our department regularly develops and improves policies and programs related to recruitment and retention; employee training; administration and classification and compensation management.  Also, we provide quality advice and expert support on employment analysis, planning, consulting and quality assurance.

We recognize the importance of effective management of our most important resources - the county workforce.

Thank you for considering Montgomery County as your career choice.
