| The Montgomery County Office of Court Administration is responsible for the administrative operations of the Montgomery County District Courts and County Courts at Law. The Montgomery County Office of Court Administration was created in 2011 to assist in the increasing work of administrative tasks being put on the District and County Court at Law Judges in Montgomery County. The Director of Court Administration serves as a management expert to the courts. |
| Responsibilities of this Office include, but are not limited to: Helping the court gain greater efficiencies in case flow management Helping the court manage financial and human resources Leading the court in strategic planning Overseeing the Office of Indigent Defense in Montgomery County Serving as a liaison between the Courts and other county departments, including Commissioner’s Court Assisting in technology projects for the court Acting as a public relations spokesperson for the courts Working closely with the Local Administrative Judges |
